| GERMAN CHRISTMAS MARKET 2010 - DECEMBER, 3rd TILL 22nd|| back to overview|
|The German Christmas Market at George’s Dock in Dublin was pretty successful in its first year. During the weekends over 24000 visitors were counted per day. Despite the huge amount of snow and cold temperatures, the Irish were excited to come to the Christmas Market for a hot chocolate or an original hot mulled wine while doing Christmas shopping on the market.
The guests have been entertained by choirs, brass bands and different kinds of artists at a stage and a little theatre place right next to the entrance. We provided an entertainment schedule covering every single day.
The Christmas Market has been very family-orientated. Santa Claus visited the kids at George’s Dock daily and had little presents for them. Face painting was offered every other day and epiphany carol singing could have been enjoyed once a week. Besides, many food and art huts, kids could take rides in a nostalgic carrousel. Another attraction was the huge Christmas tree that was about 7.5 meters.
Go! Events is going to be back for the Christmas Market in 2011 and is looking forward to the entertained, friendly and excited visitors.
